--so, side note: weird songs have almost always run in our family DNA, as far back as I can remember.
Probably stemming from back when my mom was a college DJ, and spun really WEIRD tracks once/week, really late at night. Seriously. Weird Al is traditional for us. As well as a lot of other tracks I can't share (bc either space or *ahem* tastefulness). 😁

Wow, the discovery of being able to put emojis in my entry titles has made this blog 1000% more thrilling, hasn't it who cares if it's reused it's a ccu rate  Hallo! I officially hev made it through Week 1 of University Time! (wow, could I describe things any more awkwardly) 😀 *flails happily* ...no, really, that one's in the bag. And I made it. Hit all of my classes (although lowkey ALMOST missed one because a certain alARM didn't go off 😡), stayed on top of my workload, got in quite a decent amount of exercise (from TRX to dorm jogging to Barre Burn to ab challenges to sand volleyball), kept a survivable schedule (a lot more work than usual),...and somewhere in there, also made quite a few acquaintances (including at least *two* Trekkies). 👀❤ Oh, and stayed under my 12-meals-per-week rule. bugs in the system

...no, literally. In my physical  system at least--don't worry, my computadoras are doing just fine. I'm currently typing this away while slowly on the mend from being rather sick over the past few days. Most likely gastroenteritis (intestinal/stomach infection, occasionally referred to as "stomach flu"), just in a particularly nasty vein. Really not sure where I got it from, to be honest, but..I definitely got it. Kinda shattered my weekend--started feeling kinda slow and down and sluggish and feverish/chilled on Thursday, so I crawled inta bed and...pretty much didn't get out. Except for the very occasional drink of water, and very constant bathroom break. Between the wommitin' (vomiting, sorry, that was a James Herriot reference), dizziness/nausea/pounding headaches whenever I moved, fatigue, muscle spasms/cramping (ok, I guess I'm just going into full-out complaint mode here), loss of appetite, and...um...how shall we say, pyro down under? 😓...it was ...
