'K den, here goes *something*. 😀
Happy new week to all -- I love that aspect of Sundays, to be honest. The freshness of another semana (week) awaits me, with all the potential and events and surprises and daily work and whatever other things I know will exist within it. As well as knowing that God'll be in it. 😃
Today (le Sunday) was a fairly eventful one -- the fam dropped me off at church, as usual, and I heard the message (which was really good), while also outlining my notes for kids' work (which was surprisingly good). Keyword of said kids' work was surVIVe -- simply because we had such low volunteer numbers. My coworker and I wrangled the entirety of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade initially. Eventually, we made it through large group, worship, story, etc, and review was unexpectedly good. A bit of a crazy time. Including the kiddo who turned worship motions into dabbing patterns. 😵
👧👨👩👨 vs. 💁
Parable of the Prodigal son: Jesus liked to teach people that God really does love everyone, but many times the “church-people” would get upset and think they were better than the “sinners.” This is a story that Jesus told them to show that both kind of people need forgiveness and that God wants to save everyone.
when kiddo presents u with their fidget spinners 😰

After that, the fam and I ate Father's Day brunch at a favorite cafe, then came home and crashed. Several hours later, I woke up and threw together some dinner-ish items (which we will all probably consume soon), and now am trying to crank this out "quickly"

~This past week had a lot of stuff, I guess. A bit of a blur at points. I did get in a rather nice dance class, some workouts, daily segments, college stuff (uy, so much of that), beginnings of packing (summer school starts this week ahhHhhH), and other such things. Didn't make it to my usual weekday post -- ah well. While I'm doing summer school stuff at NCSU, I'll at least do my best to get in my usual Sunday post -- but weekday ones will have to go. I'm actually excited, now that I think of it. The next phase is now here. 🐺

💫Now, on to le Weekly Segments! 💫
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Things I’d Like:
..to be honest, just a safe, fun time for my Bean, who's off vacationing in Europe for the next little while. That old, familiar ache that tells me hey its ur heart and i rlly miss someone u love is back. It's a good thing. Still. That's all for this segment this week.
Brain Fruit:
Eh, things were decent in this area this week. Sometimes feels like I'm scraping the bottom of my mind's barrel, other times stuff just flies out. An oddly random one this week, warranting some explanation perhaps --
"you have to put your heels down sometime"
...as relates to my athletic stances, you're constantly ready (or supposed to be). In bball, you're constantly on the balls of your feet; in dance, you're either keeping the weight out of your heels, or literally on your toes. In swim, you push off the walls with 3/4 of your feet, and otherwise don't touch the bottom (duh). That relates a lot to my life, as well as relationships and just about everything else. Eventually, you gotta rest; not be ready and prepared; be vulnerable; be right stuck in the present, not ready to fly off towards the future. I dunno, it made sense in my head (not sure about in typing). 👋
Mewsiks: Since 'tis Father's Day and all, here's Adam Young (I mean Owl City) with his newest single. "Not All Heroes Wear Capes". I like it. u liek it. we all lieks it and playz it on repeat. 😊
Somethin Oo Occured: I had a BIRTHDAY PARTY. For the first time in years. and it was AWESOME AND yeah. Just a few of my friends and I, trampolining then hanging out and laughing excessively then eating (while continuing excessive laughter) then opening gifts and inhaling helium from celebratory 🎈🎈🎈s then re-watching a movie then having a bit of a sleepover and then french toast the next morning. It was unbelievably worth it. 🎉🎇🎊
Alright, well, that's it for now. A lot of change in the air for me -- though prolly (and hopefully) not too much for this blog. I got myself a lotta stuff to go do now -- it'll prolly b a late night for yours truly.
